Private Lessons, Workshops & Instruction – Cameras, Photoshop CC & Elements and Lightroom
Images by Sharon Turner Photography Studio offers a variety of carefully crafted private lessons and workshops ranging from basic to advanced photography, Photoshop and Lightroom.
Private Lessons are charged per person and can accommodate up to 6 people per lesson. Workshops are limited to 10 participants, this allows for more one on one with each student. The fee is $75.00 per hour per person with a minimum 2 hours.
Gift Certificates are available.

Private lesson available for – Basic Camera Class Explanation of all the buttons on the camera and how and why they work.
Basic DSLR Photography Focal length, Aperture or F-stop, Shutter Speeds and ISO and how they work together. Depth of Field – how to sharpen or blur the background. White Balance, Custom White Balance, Histogram, Luminosity. Lightroom image importing and exporting for printing. Optional Equipment – telephoto zoom lens, external flash attachment
WORKSHOPS Suggested Prerequisite – Basic DSLR Photography Portraits & Posing with Live Models Lens focal length and camera setting for each type of portraits. Formal and informal posing of individuals, couples, families and groups.
Outdoor and Nature Lens focal length and camera setting for landscapes, wildlife, nature and macro images.
Off Camera Flash – Indoor & Outdoor How to use your flash off of the camera to create dramatic and flattering lighting.
Studio Lighting Main and fill lights, High Key, Rembrandt, Loop and Butterfly lighting styles. Flash meters and why they are important. Shooting session with live Model.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CLASSES
Lightroom Camera Raw, Importing and Exporting image files, Library module and organizing, Develop module with exposure, white balance and clarity. Re-sizing with export
Photoshop Elements How to get pictures in and out of the computer. What the tools are and what to do with them. Retouching portraits (lines, blemishes, glasses glare).
